Hair Coloring

This is a highlighting service in which your stylist will place foils (highlights) covering part of your head in a manner that suits your hair color goals! Foiling is commonly used to achieve hair colors such as blonde, copper, and vivid colors, but can also help blend gray hair without the use of a permanent color. We encourage clients to show up with relatively clean hair thats mostly free of product residue, worn the way they would wear it every day. We also encourage clients to bring photos of their desired end-goal hair color.

Please note that most stylists will require a glaze/toner with this service in order to achieve your goal hair color.

This service is a highlighting service in which your stylist will place a select few highlights according to the hair color goal you're looking to achieve, such as a few pops of vibrant color, blonde, or the ever-popular "money piece" face-framing highlight.We encourage clients to show up with relatively clean hair thats mostly free of product residue, worn the way they would wear it every day. We also encourage clients to bring photos of their desired end-goal hair color.

In this service, the stylist will color the entirety of your head. This service usually applies when you're going from one solid color to another, or if you're getting a root retouch service and a glaze / toner for the remaining ends to refresh the color. Your stylist will be able to determine what you need at your service time.

This service is for men with short hair  / people with clipper cut-length hair who are looking to color the entirety of their hair. Whether it's to color your gray, tint it so it's less obvious, or to change your hair color completely, your stylist can identify the type of service you'll need to achieve your hair color goal.

Note that if you're looking to bleach your hair in any form, your stylist may require a glaze/toner so that you can achieve your end goal hair color.

Your stylist will apply color or lightener just to the root area to cover any new growth or gray. Your stylist may also offer to apply a glaze/toner to your ends to refresh or change the color according to the root shade.

This service does not apply to clients who need highlighting/foils at the root only. We book all highlighting as foiling services rather than root retouches in order to gauge how much time is needed for your service.

This hair color service is commonly used by your stylist to refresh the hair color on the ends of your hair during a root retouch, or to achieve the goal color of your highlights / vivid color. The color we use for this service is semi-permanent and does not cause damage, but rather adds shine and works as a color-correcting device or finishing touch. 

Not all clients will need a toner based on their hair color goal, but most of the time our stylists will require this with a foil or a vivid hair color service. 

This french term "Balayage" means "to sweep", which directly relates to the technique used to highlight your hair! Stylists will choose between hand-painting on the lightener and specifically placed foils to achieve dimensional, natural results. Balayage is great for clients who want to highlight, but don't want a lot of maintenance such as coming often  for a retouch or if  they want it to grow out easily. This style of highlighting is also great for teens easing into trying hair color for the first time, since the results of balayage are subtle.
